I can only imagine my own face when I learned that the Food and Drug Administration (the FDA) has not regulated ingredients in skincare products since 1938.

8+ DECADES!!!

and with how much we’ve learned about what is in our foods that is bad for us, we need to be paying more attention to what’s in our skincare + cosmetics.

Educating people about this and their options is one of my favorite parts of working as a Beautycounter Consultant. Gathering an intimate group of people around a table over simple snacks and hot coffee or over a virtual meet-up with gal pals from all over the country, discussing this startling information and how it impacts our health and the planet, gets me fired up.

I don’t have all of the answers (i’m still learning!) but because i’m sharing the questions we should be asking to get safer better options. I also enjoy the way we get real with other women about what’s really happening in our lives + how we can be advocates for ourselves and the children we’re raising.

Hosting a quaint in-person event with 3 or 4 (or more online) your friends, family, co-workers, or neighbors is a really simple way to be a part of the mission to get safer products into the hands of everyone. We’ll spend about 40 minutes from start to finish with face-to-face pop-ups and have so much fun laughing and learning together.

I do also offer digital and virtual events for those more comfortable with those options. if you’re an outside-of-the-box thinker; these may be best for you!
