I am a BELIEVER in having a faithful, GRACE-FILLED RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS, sharing my story shame-free and cheering women who may be overwhelmed + grappling with deep grief, going through tough times. I’ve been able to keep going because of God.

And now a new Washingtonian. My hubby and I have relocated to the pacific northwest in late 2021. I’d planned to share about the move and our experiences as a couple but now I’ll be sharing the experiences as a party of one.

Being married to My AMAZING HUSBAND taught me that it is possible to love and be loved by a godly man. One who saw the ugly in my past + present and chose to love me anyway. At the time of this update, my Mister passed away from a rare glioblastoma. It has been a shock to live and move forward without him.

I value WORDS and want to use ones that encourage you. I write + a weekly newsletter that comes directly into your email inbox; it’s my heart in word form. But, for all of the words that I hold in my head and share on screens, having “one little word” to focus on each year truly helps me grow.

I TRULY ENJOY learning new things, but I’m a creature of habit and really enjoy being at home. I either have a book with me or am planning to be reading. A glass of Russian River Pinot Noir and a rainy day are appealing to me. Journaling, quiet time to reflect are favorite pastimes. And though I enjoy traveling, after a few days, I’m ready to come home.
